Hydro Racing
The Rose City Model Yacht Club, in addition to their E-RCU, & Classic Thunder 1/10 Hydros, are also racing 1/12 Scale Hydros. 

We Started racing 1/12 "Stock" Hydros last year (2010), and the class is gaining popularity.  It's Lot of fun and relatively inexpensive.   There are 2 legal boats for the class.  The Aquacraft UL-1, and the Proboat Miss Elam Brushless Hydros. 

All parts must be stock but stock parts may be interchanged between the two boats.  Any prop may be used.

Racing Rules - Standard NAMBA course and racing rules (as interpreted by the Rose City Model Yacht Club) will apply.

All races, unless otherwise specified are at Westmoreland Park in SE Portland.  Classes include 1/10th Vintage and Modern Hydros, and 1/12 "Stock" Hydros.  Drivers meeting at 10:00 AM.  Racing follows.  Get there early for practice!
